The THETAmetrix Timergate offers a highly accurate and simple-to-use timing system. It comprises a minimum of 2 timing gates (‘light-gates’) and uses light beams which when broken start and stop the timing.
The Timergate system connects to your PC via USB, which also powers the system. The user-friendly PC software stores the individual's names together with the recorded achieved timings. This prevents the need to read and record stop-watch data. The data can be stored in a MS Excel compatible format.
Up to 2 additional slave ‘light-gates’ can be used to provide a multitude of flexible timing solutions. Timing Gates (Speed Gates) provide more accurate timing than stop watches and place precise numerical values upon performance. They allow you to measure an improvement of a few percent in an athlete's speed as well as spice up a training session with fun and competitive timing drills.

A multitude of timed agility drills can be created with any combination of gate patterns. Timed drills can be used to add a competitive aspect to a training session as well as quantify athlete performance.
Timergates can be assigned and positioned in any order and can be added to a drill multiple times. Drills can be created for a large variety of sports and can be used to improve athlete agility, speed and reaction times.
'Total time' and 'Gate split times' can be conveniently displayed in ‘Run View’ mode on the Timergate software and output to an external display so athletes can easily see their results.
