A bespoke synchronisation solution was created for a PhD project in spinal biomechanics for the University of Roehampton. This event marker driven solution enabled software from a commercially purchased electromyography (EMG) system and movement analysis sensor software to be simultaneously marked. This enables any lag between the two data trains to be simply corrected resulting in synchronised data from both the EMG and motion sensors.
